Shulin Station (樹林站 )

Located southwest of Taipei City in the industrial suburban district of Shulin, this station is most often recognized as a terminal station for trains operating between Taipei and the east coast regions of Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung.

Travelers coming back from regions east of Taipei such as Ruifang, Jiufen, Fulong, Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung may ride on a Shulin-bound train, as all trains will pass through Taipei and stop at the larger stations of Taipei Main Station, Banqiao Station, and may also stop at Nangang and Songshan. Passengers who wish to travel to Taoyuan or other stations further south should transfer at Banqiao to other express services.
